Brand Identity - Mount Royal University - 2020
The 2020 graduation class needed a redesign of the Humanly showcase. In doing so it must be unique and representative of the cohort, while still maintaining sophistication and attraction.
In understanding how unique everyone is in the group, we played around with different fonts and colours. We created this active logo by cutting off some areas of the characters. This shows movement and an element of playfulness, a lot like our graduating class.
We used colours that complimented each other, but still met accessibility requirements in both the primary and inverse visual representation.
Once we had the logo and colours, a style guide was created to be used by everyone for other elements of the showcase including marketing materials,
